Book Description

Did you know? Your life is always moving in the direction of your words. What you see in your life today is the result of what you spoke yesterday, and what you will see tomorrow will be shaped by the words you choose to speak today. Do you want your life to change? Do you want your circumstances to change? Then begin by changing your words. Because the words you speak have the power to shape the life you live. That is what God did. He spoke, and He saw. Through His words, He created the heavens, the earth, and all of creation. And as His beloved children, we are called to do the same. The question now is, “What do we say?” It’s simple! We say what God has already said about us in His Word. God’s will for us is revealed in His Word, and His will is good and perfect. When we put His Word in our mouths, we align our words with His will for our lives and the lives of our loved ones. This pocket-sized book is a compilation of Scripture-based declarations. Take them, make them your own, declare them every day, and fill your life with what God says about you.

Book Summary

I Declare: Daily Declaration to Walk in Victory by Ankit Sajwan is a Christian devotional book centered on faith, the Word of God, and the practice of speaking biblical truths over one’s life. Rather than presenting victory as something dependent entirely on circumstances, the book encourages believers to consciously align their thoughts, words, and expectations with what they understand God has promised. The central idea is simple but powerful: what a person repeatedly believes, meditates upon, and declares can shape the way that person approaches life, challenges, identity, and faith. The book belongs to the Christian devotional and faith-building genre, with a strong emphasis on daily declarations, spiritual confidence, and living from the victory believed to be available through Christ.

At the heart of I Declare is the importance of words. Ankit Sajwan’s broader teaching ministry repeatedly emphasizes the relationship between faith, confession, and the Word of God. His teachings describe believers as being called to speak God’s Word rather than allowing fear, circumstances, or negative thoughts to become the dominant voice in their lives. The book therefore approaches declarations not simply as positive affirmations, but as expressions of Christian faith. The purpose is not merely to convince oneself that everything will be fine. Instead, the reader is encouraged to fill the mouth with words rooted in Scripture and to allow those words to reinforce faith in God.

This distinction is important to understanding the book. A conventional self-help book might encourage a person to repeat positive statements in order to improve confidence. I Declare works from a distinctly Christian foundation. Its declarations are connected with ideas such as God's promises, righteousness, protection, healing, provision, favor, identity in Christ, authority, and victory. Sajwan's published teachings similarly emphasize that believers should anchor themselves in God's Word rather than in changing emotions or circumstances. The result is a devotional approach in which speaking becomes an act of faith and remembrance.

The book's daily format is particularly significant. Instead of treating spiritual growth as something that happens only during church services, prayer meetings, or occasional moments of inspiration, I Declare encourages consistency. A declaration becomes meaningful through repetition. The reader returns to the truths again and again, allowing them to become familiar and increasingly influential in everyday thinking. This makes the book suitable for someone who wants a structured devotional practice rather than a long theological study.

One of the book's recurring themes is victory over negative thinking. Human beings naturally encounter fear, discouragement, uncertainty, disappointment, and thoughts of failure. When difficult circumstances continue for a long time, it can become easy to speak about them as though they define the future. A person may begin saying, “Nothing will change,” “I cannot overcome this,” or “Things will always be this way.” I Declare presents a different spiritual posture. Instead of allowing the immediate situation to determine one's confession, the believer is encouraged to return to God's Word and speak from faith.

This does not mean that difficulties are denied. Rather, the book's devotional method attempts to change the believer's response to them. The emphasis is on refusing to give the final word to fear. Sajwan's teachings similarly encourage believers to continue standing in faith rather than abandoning their confidence when circumstances appear contrary to what they believe. One of his published teachings describes faith as something that must be maintained rather than abandoned when difficulties arise. In this sense, declarations function as reminders of spiritual identity and hope.

Another major theme is identity in Christ. Christian victory, in the framework of the book, is not presented primarily as personal achievement. The believer's confidence comes from understanding who they are in relation to Christ. Sajwan's teaching on Ephesians, for example, focuses on the believer's identity, calling, inheritance, and position in Christ. This perspective changes the tone of the declarations. They are not simply statements about becoming a better person through willpower. They are expressions of a faith-based understanding of what God has already accomplished and what the believer receives through that relationship.

This theme also connects with righteousness. The book's underlying message is that a believer should approach God with confidence rather than constantly living under condemnation or the fear of being unworthy. Sajwan's teachings distinguish between trying to establish righteousness through human effort and receiving righteousness through faith in Christ. Within this framework, declarations can reinforce a sense of acceptance, confidence, and spiritual authority. The reader is encouraged to move away from an identity dominated by guilt and toward an identity shaped by grace.

The subject of faith naturally follows. Faith in I Declare is not merely an internal feeling. It is expressed through words and actions. The reader is encouraged to speak what they believe, particularly when circumstances seem to contradict their hope. Sajwan has explicitly taught about the power of confessing the Word of God and describes confession as a way believers partner with God rather than simply allowing their circumstances to dictate their speech. Thus, speaking becomes part of the practical discipline of faith.

The book also emphasizes protection and divine favor. Its declarations are intended to help readers consciously recognize God's care and presence rather than approaching each day primarily through anxiety. Sajwan's ministry has published declarations focused on favor, protection, long life, healing, and victory. These themes suggest that I Declare is designed to cover many of the concerns that occupy a believer's everyday life: safety, health, family, future, work, finances, spiritual strength, and the ability to face adversity.

Healing is another important dimension of this devotional approach. Rather than presenting healing only as an abstract theological concept, Sajwan's teachings encourage believers to confess God's promises concerning healing and to understand themselves as recipients of God's grace. His ministry has specifically published teachings on walking in healing and on using Scripture in prayer concerning healing. Within I Declare, this broader emphasis gives declarations a pastoral purpose: they can become words of hope for people who are facing physical or emotional difficulty.

The book also explores the idea of spiritual authority. A recurring concept in Sajwan's teachings is that believers are not meant to live passively or helplessly. They are described as ambassadors of God's Kingdom and as people who can exercise spiritual authority through faith. His teaching on “Kings Decree,” for example, connects the believer's identity with the idea of authority and the power of spoken declarations. This gives the daily declaration practice a sense of purpose. The reader is not merely reciting sentences; the practice is intended to cultivate confidence in one's spiritual position.

At the same time, the value of the book lies partly in its simplicity. Many people understand Christian principles intellectually but struggle to bring those principles into everyday life. A daily declaration provides a bridge between belief and routine. Instead of leaving faith inside a church building or a Bible study, the reader begins the day by deliberately speaking about identity, hope, protection, provision, strength, and God's promises. Over time, this can create a more intentional spiritual rhythm.

The book's approach also highlights the connection between meditation and confession. What occupies the mind eventually influences what comes out of the mouth. If a person continually meditates on fear, failure, rejection, or uncertainty, those ideas can dominate conversation and behavior. If the mind is repeatedly directed toward Scripture, faith, grace, and God's promises, the believer may become more conscious of those truths. Sajwan's teaching on biblical meditation similarly describes meditation on God's Word as a practical way of renewing the mind and overcoming negative thoughts.

Importantly, the book is not best understood as a promise that every difficulty will disappear immediately after a declaration is spoken. Its deeper devotional purpose is to cultivate a faith-centered way of approaching life. Circumstances may still be difficult, unanswered questions may remain, and growth may take time. The declaration becomes a means of repeatedly returning to one's spiritual convictions when emotions or circumstances pull in another direction.

The title I Declare therefore captures the book's central practice. “I declare” is a movement from passive observation to intentional confession. Instead of simply describing what is happening, the reader is encouraged to speak from the perspective of faith. Instead of allowing fear to dictate the vocabulary of the day, the reader chooses words connected with Scripture and Christian hope.

Ultimately, I Declare: Daily Declaration to Walk in Victory is a practical devotional built around a straightforward spiritual discipline: speak God's Word, believe His promises, renew the mind, and approach daily life from an understanding of victory in Christ. Its emphasis on repetition makes it especially suited to personal morning devotion, prayer, meditation, or daily faith practice. The book's message is less about learning a large amount of new theological information and more about repeatedly bringing foundational Christian truths into conscious daily use.

For readers who appreciate devotional books that are direct, encouraging, and practical, I Declare offers a structured way to begin each day with words of faith rather than words of fear. Its central invitation is to become intentional about what one allows to shape the mind and what one chooses to speak. Through declarations rooted in Christian belief, the book encourages readers to remember their identity in Christ, trust God's promises, resist discouragement, and face ordinary and difficult circumstances with renewed confidence. In that sense, the book presents victory not simply as a destination but as a daily posture of faith—a way of walking through life with one's thoughts, words, and expectations continually turned toward God.
