As Arjun journeys through forests, valleys and hidden trails, he stumbles across a group of fellow hikers—each carrying their own emotional baggage. Among them is the last person he expected to see: Huntress, aka Anjali, his college crush.
The trail begins to work its quiet magic, drawing Arjun and his group closer to healing. But questions persist: Who is Birdie? Will he ever meet her? And when the path splits, will he choose Huntress—the girl who stands beside him—or Birdie—the unseen stranger who was there for him when no one was?

Jayesh Bhaware is an author and poet based in Pune. Alongside his professional work in marketing and strategy with senior business leaders and CXOs, he writes on themes of love, healing and intimacy. He was born and raised in a small village in Maharashtra and has published a collection of poems, Silk and Petals. The Trail of a Songbird is his debut novel.
